US$49 Canadian Army Arctic Winter Parka - 7142 - Extreme Cold - in St. Albert, Alberta for sale

Furniture
$49

Offered here is a Canadian Army Arctic Parka.Parka shown in the images is the actual 1 that you will get - it is priced to sell. These parkas are well known for fitting larger than the military sizing label would indicate (see "actual" measurements listed below) - room has been provided for extra layers of clothing. I have provided actual measurements in inches so you can compare the listed dimensions to an existing coat/parka that you have; and then you can accurately judge if this is the parka for you. Military Sizing Code: 7142 Fits: Someone who is 67 .1" to 71" tall Fits: Someone who has a 37.6" to 41.5" chest ACTUAL SIZING: Armpit to Armpit (outside) measurement: 25" Realistic chest size: Up to 46" (with a few layers will be quite snug at that size) Armpit to Outer sleeve end: 22.5" Outer sleeve end to outer sleeve end (measured across the chest arms straight out): 67 " Knit neck collar top to bottom (measured on front - collar raised up): 36" Photos: Theparka in the photos is the actual parka you will get. Condition observations: Please look closely at the high resolution and detailed photos - these are photos of your parka and what to expect in the mail. This 1 is almost 30 yrs old. It has been used and shows it's age. It is still a parka that has a TON of life left. This is a perfect work, ice fishing, hunting, barn parka. Inside and outside shows the typical longterm brownish staining - not a sign of being dirty and unwashed, but a sign of light long-term staining. Outside has some fade - Fading or staining (if any) will show up much more vivid in the images, as I do this on purpose. I did not find any holes, rips, scuffs, or fraying - a couple of small nicks on the shell material, and a couple of small stains. 1 small flaw that I could find was 1 of the snaps that hold the liner in place has come loose - bottom right corner on the parka - this really affects nothing. This 1 is well used and somewhat older, but still a great unit with a ton of life left. Features: These coats have a ton of great features that make it 1 of the best (if not THE best) parkas you will ever own. They are an arctic parka and temperate rated to -40 with appropriate layers under the parka. This version is water resistant, water will bead off the exterior material. This is the older (tougher and heavier) version that was replaced by the Goretex versions - this type has many advantages over the newer Goretex ones (for example brass zippers). The parka features a Nylon / cotton shell, removable liner, and a removable hood. The parka also features: Made in Canada Large Brass 2-way main zipper Removable hood with wire trim (so you can shape it) Double chest pockets each side with flaps and with zippers Re-enforced elbows (double layer of material) Large waist cargo pockets with cargo slots inside Front storm flap over main zipper with large buttons Adjustable cuff ends on arms with Velcro flap Waist and bottom draw strings two x internal chest pockets with Velcro closure Waist, bottom, and hood draw strings Roomy sizing Excellent craftsmanship Warm, durable, practical, and designed for cold weather Any questions feel free to ask. Shipping: I combine shipping and try to get you the best value always. Canadian Buyers: We ship by Canada Post Expedited with insurance and tracking. You can expect a 4-10 business day transit time. Unfortunately Canada Post is an expensive company to use (please do not blame us).....But, they are much cheaper than courier type companies. The initial rate they charge is high, however as we add small items and increase the weight of a package, the rate does not increase very much. In order for you to get the best value for your shipping fees it makes economical sense to buy a bunch of stuff, the shipping will go up slightly as more items are added but you will get better value for the shipping $ spent. A very small & light item will not increase the shipping cost at all. Being a registered business we have to charge sales (bleah !) tax. US Buyers: Shipping cost is what the post office fees us. In most cases we pay slightly more than what we charge. Shipping cost includes insurance and tracking and you can expect a six to 14 business day transit time. Canada Post to the USA is expensive (although cheaper than private companies). We will ship to the USA and gladly work with you to get you the best rate if you get multiple items. These are made in the USA so duty should not be a factor - if they do charge duty (seldom) you can claim that back at your local customs office.
