1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 1967 Cougar XR7 (A code) with 4 gear manual transmission, 289 V8 with four barrel. Over $70 ,000.00 invested and appraised at $35 ,000.00 (prior to several up-grades), asking $19 ,500.00 usd. This car has been restored top to bottom, front to back. Its a rare car as there were very few Cougar XR7s with a manual 4 gear transmission. I have complete restoration photo documentation with all receipts available. Marti Report, CarProof Vehicle History Report, Appraisal Report and several vehicle assembly manuals also available. I even have a Cougar Owners Manual. The car is all stock except for a couple of minor upgrades i.e. hideaway headlamp door actuators are electric (so, the doors actually work very well), the stereo is retro (looks like a Cougar AM radio), but is actually a MP3 player with CD hook-up. There are upgraded speakers front and back, but the grilles are stock looking. There is a Hurst shifter in place of the old cougar set-up. I do however I have all the old parts (radio, headlamp vaccu-pods, shifter and linkages etc.) in case a new owner wanted to return the car back to complete original. This car is tight, fast and runs like a clock. I hate to part with the Cat, but I rarely ever drive her and really need the extra space. I would like to see her go to a responsible and loving home.
